Mansha Chhatwal is a visual artist and graphic designer, interested in the interactions between subject and material. Her multi-dimensional works take the form of personal explorations or focus on themes from her own life.
In direct opposition to the work she created commercially, Mansha attempts to make her current work appear intuitive rather than dictated by an advertising brief. She has participated in group exhibitions like Bartered Collections and Art Conspiracy (Mumbai), The Sketchbook Project (Brooklyn), The Sarai Reader 09 (New Delhi) and The Reading Room (UK). She has a Bachelor’s in Applied Arts from Sophia Polytechnic, and has previously worked in advertising and graphic design. She currently works as a freelancer and on her own art projects, and is teaching as a visiting faculty at the Indian School of Design and Innovation - Parsons, Mumbai.
